Akarkara Liquid Extract retains inulin with pellitorine-type alkamides and phenolic acids from Anacyclus pyrethrum root. The alkamides that produce the characteristic tingling are only partly recovered by aqueous extraction; inulin dominates the water-derived botanical fraction by mass. Specify the alkamide figure separately from total solids. Akarkara Water-Soluble Extract — known as Akarkara in Hindi, Akkirakaram in Tamil, Akarakaram in Telugu, and Akkalakara in Marathi (Anacyclus pyrethrum).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Akarkara?
Most buyers use it in oral-care liquid bases, Ayurvedic preparations and traditional blends. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
