Bahera Liquid Extract delivers gallic and ellagic acid with chebulagic acid from Terminalia bellirica fruit. Hydrolysable tannins are freely recovered by aqueous extraction, which is why the triphala group works well in liquid formats where lipophilic botanicals do not. Specify fruit pulp and confirm the seed was removed. Bahera Water-Soluble Extract — known as Baheda in Hindi, Tandra in Telugu, Thanni in Malayalam, Behada in Marathi, and Bahera in Bengali (Terminalia bellirica).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Bahera?
Most buyers use it in triphala liquid preparations, digestive formulations and oral-care bases. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
