Babchi Liquid Extract carries the more water-dispersible seed constituents alongside variable amounts of psoralen and isopsoralen from Psoralea corylifolia. Bakuchiol is lipophilic and should not be assumed to occur at oil-extract or isolate levels in an aqueous product; furanocoumarin recovery is limited under aqueous extraction and varies by lot. Require per-lot psoralen and isopsoralen data and assess photosensitivity before topical use. Baochi / Babchi Water-Soluble Extract — known as Bakuchi in Hindi, Karpokarishi in Tamil, and Hakuch in Bengali (Psoralea corylifolia).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Baochi / Babchi?
Most buyers use it in topical water phases and traditional preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
