Black Cardamom Liquid Extract presents flavonoid glycosides with phenolic acids and saponin glycosides from Amomum subulatum fruit pod. Black cardamom is smoke-dried and carries a phenolic, campfire character that green cardamom does not — the two are not interchangeable in flavour work. Specify the binomial; Elettaria cardamomum is a different species. Black Cardamom Water-Soluble Extract — known as Badi Elaichi in Hindi, Periya Elam in Tamil, Pedda Elaki in Telugu, Valiya Elam in Malayalam, Mothi Elayachi in Marathi, and Bara Elach in Bengali (Amomum subulatum).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Black Cardamom?
Most buyers use it in flavour liquid premixes, digestive formulations and Ayurvedic preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
