Calendula Liquid Extract provides isorhamnetin, quercetin and narcissin glycosides from Calendula officinalis flower. Faradiol esters are the anti-irritant markers in European pharmacopoeial practice, but they are lipophilic and belong to the oil extract rather than the water phase. Specify petal-only material and do not carry faradiol figures across from an oil extract.

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Calendula Flower?
Most buyers use it in cosmetic water phases and topical bases. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
