Camphor Wood Liquid Extract carries polar borneol constituents with flavonoid glycosides and phenolic acids from Cinnamomum camphora wood. Free camphor is a ketone with no site for glycosylation and sublimes readily, and 1,8-cineole is a cyclic ether with no hydroxyl to glycosylate — aqueous extraction recovers the polar fraction instead. Do not specify free camphor content against this material. Camphor Water-Soluble Extract — known as Kapur in Hindi and Karpooram (Karpuram) in Tamil (Cinnamomum camphora).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Camphor?
Most buyers use it in topical water phases and traditional preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
