Cassia Tora Liquid Extract concentrates emodin and chrysophanol glucosides with tannins from Senna tora seed. The anthraquinone glycosides are the water-soluble forms; the seed gum sold as cassia gum is a hydrocolloid carrying almost none of them. Anthraquinones are stimulant laxatives — confirm the level and flag it for chronic-use formats. Cassia Tora Water-Soluble Extract — known as Tagarai (Thagarai) in Tamil and Thakara / Ponthakara in Malayalam (Senna tora).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Cassia Tora?
Most buyers use it in traditional preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
