The A-type procyanidins are the water-soluble fraction metabolic formulations reference; free cinnamaldehyde belongs predominantly to the volatile-oil fraction. Cinnamomum verum is true cinnamon and carries very little coumarin, where cassia carries substantially more. Specify verum and require a coumarin figure.
