Citronella Liquid Extract yields flavonoid glycosides with phenolic acids and bound terpene glycosides from Cymbopogon nardus. Citronellal and geraniol are the markers of citronella oil and are poorly water-soluble; a water-derived liquid carries the polyphenol and bound-terpene fraction instead. Do not carry citronella oil specifications across to this material.

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Citronella Flower?
Most buyers use it in cosmetic water phases and repellent-category preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
