Coriander Seed Liquid Extract supplies linalool glucoside with flavonoid glycosides and phenolic acids from Coriandrum sativum seed. Linalool occurs in bound glucosidic form as well as free, and it is the bound fraction that is preferentially recovered during aqueous extraction — coriander oil carries the free alcohol instead. Do not carry coriander oil dosing across to this material. Coriander Seed Water-Soluble Extract — known as Dhaniya in Hindi, Kothamalli in Tamil, Dhaniyalu in Telugu, Malli in Malayalam, Dhane in Marathi, and Dhone / Dhonepata in Bengali (Coriandrum sativum).

FAQs

What are the primary formulation applications of Coriander Seed?
Most buyers use it in digestive liquid formulations, flavour premixes and Ayurvedic preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.

Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
