Eucalyptus Liquid Extract carries macrocarpal-type phloroglucinols with quercetin glycosides and ellagitannins from Eucalyptus globulus leaf. Eucalyptus oil is 70 to 85 percent cineole, a cyclic ether with no site for glycosylation; aqueous extraction recovers the phloroglucinol and tannin fraction instead. Do not carry eucalyptus oil specifications across to this material. Eucalyptus Water-Soluble Extract — known as Nilgiri in Hindi (Eucalyptus globulus).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Eucalyptus?
Most buyers use it in oral-care liquid bases, respiratory preparations and cosmetic water phases. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
