Fenugreek Leaf Liquid Extract provides trigonelline with vitexin and quercetin glycosides from Trigonella foenum-graecum leaf. Leaf carries almost none of the diosgenin-type saponins the seed is bought for — if a specification names saponins, seed is the correct input. Specify leaf or seed explicitly. Fenugreek is a legume; cross-reactivity with peanut and chickpea is reported in sensitised individuals. Fenugreek Leaf Water-Soluble Extract — known as Methi in Hindi, Vendhayam in Tamil, Menthikura in Telugu, and Uluva in Malayalam (Trigonella foenum-graecum).

FAQs

What are the primary formulation applications of Fenugreek Leaf?
Most buyers use it in culinary liquid premixes, greens beverage bases and traditional preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.

Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
