Garlic Liquid Extract carries alliin with S-allylcysteine and fructans from Allium sativum bulb. Allicin forms only when alliinase acts on alliin and is unstable in solution, so a water-derived liquid carries the stable precursor and transformation products rather than allicin itself. Specify alliin or S-allylcysteine; do not specify allicin against a liquid. Garlic Water-Soluble Extract — known as Lahsun in Hindi, Poondu in Tamil, Vellulli in Telugu, Veluthulli in Malayalam, Lasun in Marathi, and Rosun in Bengali (Allium sativum).
