Hibiscus Liquid Extract carries delphinidin- and cyanidin-3-sambubioside with hibiscus acid from Hibiscus sabdariffa calyx. The anthocyanins carry the colour and the organic acids the tartness, and both are freely water-soluble — which is why hibiscus works better as a liquid than most colour botanicals. Anthocyanin colour shifts blue above pH 4; fix the matrix pH before setting inclusion. Hibiscus Flower Water-Soluble Extract — known as Lal Ambari in Hindi, Pulichai Keerai in Tamil, Yerragogu in Telugu, Pulichchai in Malayalam, Lal Ambadi in Marathi, and Lal Mista in Bengali (Hibiscus sabdariffa).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Hibiscus Flower?
Most buyers use it in natural-colour applications, beverage bases and herbal tea premixes. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
