Boswellia Liquid Extract carries boswellic acids and AKBA with gum arabinogalactan from Boswellia serrata oleo-gum resin. The gum fraction is recovered most readily by aqueous extraction; the boswellic acids are pentacyclic triterpenes and come across at lower levels than from a solvent extract. Confirm the AKBA figure rather than assuming a solvent-extract specification. Indian Frankincense Water-Soluble Extract — known as Salai in Hindi, Kunkiliyam in Tamil, Guggilamu in Telugu, Kungilyam in Malayalam, Salai in Marathi, and Kundur in Bengali (Boswellia serrata).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Indian Frankincense?
Most buyers use it in joint-category liquid formulations and Ayurvedic preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
