Jivanti Liquid Extract retains pregnane glycosides with leptadenol and root polysaccharides from Leptadenia reticulata root. The pregnane glycosides are the characteristic constituents and there is no widely accepted standardised assay, so identity matters more than any percentage figure. Require species identity testing. Jivanti Root Water-Soluble Extract — known as Dodi in Hindi, Palaikkodi in Tamil, and Kalasa in Telugu (Leptadenia reticulata).

FAQs

What are the primary formulation applications of Jivanti Root?
Most buyers use it in Ayurvedic rasayana liquid preparations and lactation-category formulations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.

Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
