Kaffir Lime Liquid Extract carries hesperidin with naringin and ascorbic acid from Citrus hystrix fruit. Kaffir lime is bought for its leaf and peel aroma in cooking, but the aroma is a volatile-oil property; a water-derived extract carries the flavanone glycosides instead. Specify potassium sorbate where ascorbic acid is retained; benzoate systems at low pH are not preferred alongside ascorbate.

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Kaffir Lime?
Most buyers use it in citrus-bioflavonoid liquid formulations and beverage bases. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
