Lemon Fruit Liquid Extract carries hesperidin with eriocitrin and ascorbic acid from Citrus limon fruit. Eriocitrin is the flavanone that distinguishes lemon from orange and grapefruit on assay, and it is more polar than hesperidin. Specify potassium sorbate where ascorbic acid is retained; benzoate systems at low pH are not preferred alongside ascorbate. Lemon Fruit Water-Soluble Extract — known as Nimbu in Hindi, Elumichai in Tamil, Nimmakaya in Telugu, Naranga in Malayalam, Limbu in Marathi, and Lebu in Bengali (Citrus limon).

FAQs

What are the primary formulation applications of Lemon Fruit?
Most buyers use it in citrus-bioflavonoid liquid formulations and beverage bases. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.

Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
