Licorice Liquid Extract concentrates glycyrrhizin with liquiritin and isoliquiritin from Glycyrrhiza glabra root. Glycyrrhizin is a saponin glycoside and is freely obtained through water extraction, carrying both the sweetness and the intake limits with it. Glycyrrhizin intake is capped in several jurisdictions; a deglycyrrhizinated grade is a separate specification. Licorice Water-Soluble Extract — known as Mulethi in Hindi, Adhimadhuram in Tamil, Athimathuram in Telugu, Erattimadhuram in Malayalam, and Jyeshthamadh in Marathi (Glycyrrhiza glabra).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Licorice?
Most buyers use it in throat-category liquid formulations, sweetening applications and Ayurvedic bases. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
