Mayapple Flower Liquid Extract delivers quercetin and kaempferol glycosides with flower polyphenols from Podophyllum peltatum. Podophyllotoxin is the cytotoxic lignan Podophyllum is known for and it concentrates in the rhizome resin, not the flower — flower material is a different product entirely. Specify flower explicitly and require confirmation that no rhizome fraction is present.

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Mayapple Flower?
Most buyers use it in traditional preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
