Nutmeg Liquid Extract carries macelignan with phenolic acids and polar seed constituents from Myristica fragrans kernel. Myristicin and elemicin are the phenylpropanoids nutmeg is defined by and belong largely to the volatile oil; macelignan is the lignan more readily obtained through water extraction. Safrole and myristicin are restricted in food in several jurisdictions; confirm permitted levels. Nutmeg Seed Water-Soluble Extract — known as Jaiphal in Hindi, Jathikkai in Tamil, Jajikaya in Telugu, Jathikka in Malayalam, Jayaphala in Marathi, and Jayaphala in Bengali (Myristica fragrans).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Nutmeg Seed?
Most buyers use it in flavour liquid premixes and traditional preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
