Pineapple Liquid Extract delivers bromelain with quercetin glycosides and ascorbic acid from Ananas comosus fruit. Bromelain is a cysteine protease bought on proteolytic activity rather than concentration, and stem bromelain is a separate and more active material than fruit bromelain. Specify GDU and the stem-versus-fruit basis. Specify potassium sorbate where ascorbic acid is retained; benzoate systems at low pH are not preferred alongside ascorbate. Pineapple Fruit Water-Soluble Extract — known as Anannas in Hindi, Annasi (Anasippazham) in Tamil, Anasapandu in Telugu, Kaitachakka (also Ananas) in Malayalam, Ananas in Marathi, and Anarosh (Anannas) in Bengali (Ananas comosus).

FAQs

What are the primary formulation applications of Pineapple Fruit?
This is a water-soluble extract of Ananas comosus; as with any new ingredient, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.

Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
