Saw Palmetto Liquid Extract retains berry polysaccharides with flavonoid glycosides and phenolic acids from Serenoa repens fruit. The clinically referenced material is a lipidosterolic extract at 85 to 95 percent fatty acids, which is a hexane or CO2 product — a water-derived extract carries none of that fraction. Do not carry lipidosterolic dosing across to this material.

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Saw Palmetto Fruit?
Most buyers use it in liquid nutraceuticals and traditional preparations. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
