Tamarind Liquid Extract supplies tartaric and malic acid with pulp polysaccharides from Tamarindus indica fruit pulp. Tamarind pulp is unusually high in tartaric acid, which sets the pH of any liquid it goes into and can destabilise pH-sensitive actives. Confirm the titratable acidity before formulating around it. Tamarind Water-Soluble Extract — known as Imli in Hindi (Tamarindus indica).

FAQs
What are the primary formulation applications of Tamarind?
Most buyers use it in beverage bases, digestive liquid formulations and culinary premixes. As with any new water-soluble extract, pilot-test in your specific base before committing to a full production run.
Which carrier should I choose — water, propylene glycol or glycerin?
Water alone suits most aqueous formulations. Propylene glycol improves cold-stability and solvency in preserved systems; glycerin gives a milder, skin-friendlier carrier for leave-on formulations. PG and glycerin variants are offered at 500 g and 1 Kg, with PG also available at 5 Kg.
